In light of the ongoing war on the people of Gaza and Palestine, we are calling for artists to donate works for an exhibition and sale to raise much needed funds to support children in Gaza. People all over the world are protesting and raising their voices in opposition to the attack on the civilian population of Gaza. Following on from the success of the 2014 exhibition fundraiser for Gaza at 126 Artists-Run Gallery, and the overwhelming level of support from Irish visual artists, we can help support the vital work being carried out by MECA to provide emergency medical assistance to families seeking shelter and medical assistance in Gaza.

OPEN CALL:

• For 2D postcard size works in any medium. Work must be postcard size (approx A6/11 x 15cm).

• All works will be for sale and will be priced at a minimum of 20 EUR.

• All proceeds go to Middle East Childrens Alliance: https://www.mecaforpeace.org 

• Please mail or drop off a maximum of 3 postcard sized artworks to Engage Arts Studios by Thursday, December 7.

• Works will be displayed anonymously on the evening of the sale. Please include your name, email/contact details on the back of each work.
